What it looks like when it works

Four Australian businesses, four different problems, one platform. Every quote here’s sourced from material the provider has published with the customer’s name on it, and we link to the original in each piece.

Organic retail

The shop that answers the phone from anywhere

A Sydney health-food store stopped running its business line off a personal mobile, and got its owner back out of the shop.

Five phone systems that couldn’t call each other

A Hexatronic Group company spent years asking callers to hang up and dial another state. One platform ended that overnight.

Billing software

When the phone system sells the software

A billing-software vendor integrated its platform with its phone system, and ended up sending its own customers across.

A note on whose case studies these are

All four come from Uniden Voice over Cloud, which finished first on our scorecard. VOCPhone publishes its customer list rather than written case studies, and names Harvey Norman, Ampol, Gold’s Gym, YMCA and Ray White among them. We would rather link to a real study with a real name attached than write a composite, so that’s what you get here.
